Susannah is a multidisciplinary artist based on Wurundjeri Country, Australia, working primarily in free-motion machine embroidery and textiles and oil painting.
Built upon a background in traditional landscape painting, her current practice captures her own form of ‘micro-landscapes’ through thread - mapping the interconnected systems of fungi and small ecosystems.
Susannah completed a Master of Fine Art at RMIT University in 2024. She was a finalist in the 2026 ‘Irene Davies Award’ (Australian Tapestry Workshop) and the Fortyfivedownstairs ‘Emerging Artist Award’ (2026). Her solo exhibitions include ‘Lichenform’ (Eltham Library Community Gallery, 2026) and ‘Natural State’ (Red Gallery, 2022).
